Words cannot explain how moved and thankful I am for the scholarship you have provided for me. To face such a pivotal loss in one’s life and then use it to better influence other’s lives is truly admirable. While the money itself provides great aid, I believe that the words said when receiving the scholarship are what will stick with me throughout my education.

I would like to express my gratitude for allowing me to receive the Braydon House Scholarship. This money has helped me so much with school and has allowed me to take one more step in reaching the goals I’ve set in place for my life. I’m currently in my second semester of respiratory therapy school. I made this choice because I’ve worked in ICU as a patient care tech for 4 years and it has shown me how rewarding it can be to bring others peace and comfort. I did not know Braydon, but hearing all the stories about him was an absolute joy. I am the mother of two young boys and I pray they always seek adventure in life with the same strong heart as Braydon. Thank you again for all you have done and will continue to do in Braydon’s name.

I wanted to extend my utmost thanks for blessing me with the Braydon House Scholarship. This scholarship has helped ease the stress that comes along with paying for college greatly and has provided me with so much financial relief. I did not know Braydon but I did attend the same school as him; I would like to think that connects us in some way. I’m grateful that my mother was able to care for Braydon and hopeful that when I finish my nursing degree I will be able to impact families in the same way my mother impacted yours and you have impacted mine. I pray that I will have the same sincerity, drive, and passion that Braydon so obviously had and I am praying for peace for your family.
